You got into real estate to help people. Along the way, you built relationships, learned your markets, and figured out that this business runs on trust.
That trust has helped you find clients, build rapport, and guide them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. What if there was a low-effort way to extend that value, get paid for it, without adding to your workload?
That’s exactly what the Benham Design Concepts Affiliate Program for Realtors is designed to do.
Earn Commision – Affiliate Program For Handcrafted Furniture
The Benham Design Concepts Affiliate Program
I’m Brian Benham. I’ve been building custom furniture and architectural components for decades out of my Colorado studio. My work includes traditional woodworking joinery, CNC and laser fabrication, and mixed-media pieces in wood, stone, glass, and metal. I serve homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors. People who want something that fits their space and tells a story, not something that ships in a flat box.
I’m looking to partner with realtors who want to offer their clients additional services to help them settle into their new homes or office spaces, and earn passive income doing it.
Here’s how the affiliate program works:
- 10% commission on every sale generated through your referrals
- A personalized landing page on my website: benhamdesignconcepts.com/yourname, that you can share directly with clients to build trust.
- From your personalized page, they can request a custom furniture design or shop pre-designed furniture ready to be fabricated and delivered to their new homes.
- Affiliate links to my shop that you can drop in your website, newsletter, social media, or Linktree.
- Downloadable QR codes to add to your print marketing materials; buyer packets, closing gifts, whatever fits your workflow
There’s no quota to hit, no inventory to manage, no customer service on your end. You make the introduction, and I take it from there.

Why This Makes Sense for Your Business (Beyond the Commission)
The commission is nice, but the real value here is what this does for your relationships and your reputation.
You become the agent who stays in the picture. Most agents disappear after closing. When you follow up with a personalized recommendation. “Hey, I work with a custom furniture maker here in Colorado who might be a great fit for your new place.” You’re the one who’s still thinking about them. That’s memorable.
You deepen trust by connecting people with quality. Your reputation is built on the quality of the people and services you recommend. Handcrafted, custom furniture isn’t a commodity. When a client loves the piece they ordered, and they will, that reflects on you for making the introduction.
You give clients a reason to talk about you. Referrals don’t just happen because someone liked you. They happen when someone has a story to tell. A beautiful piece of furniture in their living room is a conversation starter, and you’re part of that story.
You stay top of mind during the decision-making window. New homeowners are actively spending on their space in the months after they move in. That’s when your introduction is most timely, and most likely to turn into a sale and a commission for you.
Let’s Talk About the Numbers
Real estate can be a rewarding career, but the income statistics tell a complicated story.
According to the NAR’s 2025 Member Profile, the median gross income for Realtors® was $58,100 in 2024, but after business expenses, the median net income drops to around $36,600. New agents fare even worse: those with two years or less of experience earned a median of just $8,100.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (May 2024) puts the median annual wage for real estate sales agents at $56,320, with brokers coming in at $72,280. Those numbers sound reasonable on the surface, but they don’t reflect the full picture. Variable income, slow seasons, brokerage splits, MLS fees, vehicle costs, and marketing spend all eat into what agents actually take home.
What that means in practice: a lot of agents are looking for ways to smooth out their income without picking up a second job or chasing more listings in a sluggish market.
Your Biggest Business Asset Is Already in Your Database
Here’s what’s interesting: the most effective income strategy most agents overlook is already sitting in their contacts list.
82% of all real estate transactions come from repeat and referral business. The typical agent earns 42% of their income from repeat clients and referrals from past clients. And 88% of buyers say they would use their agent again or recommend them, but only a fraction actually do, largely because agents don’t have a system to stay in front of them after closing.
That gap, between clients who intend to refer you and clients who actually do, is where relationships either grow or go cold. The agents who close it consistently aren’t doing anything magical. They’re just staying relevant in their clients’ lives after the transaction ends.
One way to do that: help them get settled into their new home.
What Happens After the Keys Change Hands
The closing is a big moment, but it’s not the end of your client’s journey. They’ve just moved into a new space, and chances are they’re figuring out what furniture to replace, what rooms need a refresh, and what pieces they want to invest in now that they’re finally in the home they want.
Most agents hand over the keys and wish them luck. A few send a housewarming gift. But what if you could connect them with a craftsman who builds exactly what they’re looking for, custom, handcrafted, built-to-last furniture, and earn a commission while you’re at it?
This is furniture that is not available in design centers; it is custom-built to your client’s needs and style.
A Low-Effort Way to Add Value and Earn More
You’ve already done the hard part, earning your clients’ trust. This program gives you a simple, low-maintenance way to extend that relationship, offer something genuinely useful, and pick up passive income on sales you would have never seen otherwise.
If you have questions or want to talk through how it might work for your business, reach out. I’m happy to connect.
